Replaced Two Broken Fence Posts

Esan and his crew replaced two broken fence posts. They arrived early and were able to complete the job in one day. I was concerned as my backyard backs onto a parking lot and didn’t want my yard exposed overnight. The price was reasonable, they were polite and most importantly my fence is now stable. Would definitely consider them for future work.

Renovation of Bathroom Floor and Complete Shower Installation

My bathroom problem began with the discovery of rotted sub-flooring due to a leak around the shower drain. The drain, from a previous renovation, had been improperly installed and thus, jeopardized the whole bathroom floor. I interviewed a number of reputable contractors and after meeting and discussing the problem and solution with Esan, of EH Handyman&Contractor, I chose Esan, as I felt quite confident in his understanding of the problem and as to how it should be properly addressed. Over a period of five days, Esan and Shawn, a sub-contactor closely allied with Esan, went about their work with diligence and craftsmanship, the latter, me not fully understanding until the whole project came together. Being new to actually seeing the renovation process, there where moments when I had my doubts and it is here that I would suggest, that the client having chosen their contractor, not second guess them and to let them do 'their' work. This was a lesson that I sorely needed to learn and thankfully, both Esan and Shawn were professional, polite and understanding in how they worked with me and in general, the project as a whole. The finished bathroom was far beyond my expectations and it is for this, and what I have written above, that I most heartily recommend Esan and his contracting services for your renovation needs.

Kitchen Installation

I am extremely satisfied with the work that was done at my home. Esan and his team came in and installed my new kitchen in a short time. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. The work and professionalism was amazing and I would definitely use him again.

Composite Deck

Esan and his crew did a wonderful job of constructing the deck, any problems were resolved immediately. They were on time and very easy to deal with. They checked with me before doing anything, which is great as not all contractors do that. The final result is a faboulous and beautiful deck as my neighbours will attest to. Waterproofing of the Back Garden Deck

Esan and his crew were selected to do this job. The deck is about 6 years old, and no work had been done on it since construction. The deck was cleaned, power washed and stained. The work was done professionally. They took all practical precautions to minimize damage to surrounding construction. We were satisfied with the work done, and would be happy to use Esan and his crew again in the future.

Backyard Wooden Fence

I hired EH Handyman and Contracting to build a wooden fence in my backyard. Esan responded quickly and communication with him and his team was easy and responsive. He was able to work my project into his schedule, provided me with a start date and estimated completion date. Esan was good to work with during the project scoping, duration & cost estimation process. He and his team participated during the initial design process and were helpful making decisions when complications came up or when adjustments were requested. The fence I needed was relatively basic in design; however, there were some complex technical aspects to the project like dealing with two different retaining walls and plants crossing property lines that the team handled well. I am definitely satisfied with the work done by EH Contracting and would be happy to recommend them. Esan has now built my fence and those of several of my neighbours and it is understandable why.

Construction of a New Fence Where Conditions with a Retaining Wall Complicated the Job

Ceiling Drywall Replaced and Popcorn the Ceiling

Esan was quick to respond to my project inquiry on here. We discussed on a call what needed to be done in my basement and he made an appointment to see the house in-person to give an accurate quote. Esan was very professional and answered all of my questions, he sent an electronic quote by email a few days after the house visit and I decided to use him as a contractor because he was able to fit in my timelines. I am happy with the work and he cleaned up the work area before he left my house. I will definitely recommended Esan to anyone.

Basement Flooring Installation

Esan and his team were great to work with. When he quoted the job a month or so in advance he said he'd be able to start the first week of August. Guess when he started? The first week of August. I honestly don't think that's ever happened with a contractor before (they're usually a bit later than they say they'll be, or a lot later). He showed up at 9am every morning, was super prompt & efficient, very communicative, detail-oriented, left the place very clean, and the price was really reasonable. Probably the best contractor I've ever worked with. I highly recommend him!

Fence Repair

I selected E.H. Handyman after receiving interest from 5 other companies. The owner Esan stood out based on his initial message . After speaking to him on the phone it was obvious that he was genuinely interested in the job.( several other contractors acted as if they were doing me a favour as the job was small and they were very busy). Everything was completed in a timely fashion and the work area was cleaned up. I would definitely use this company again.

Bathroom Renovation & Related Work

I will highly recommend the services of Esan and his team for house renovation and related services. This wonderful team built us a washroom, renovated the existing washroom, fixed a ceiling, did painting and many other related work. Be it Esan or Tavel, Norm or Anthony, each and everyone from the team are so efficient and explains the work to us so well before they begin. The one thing I would like to specially mention is how each one of them took special care to make sure any work involving noise was avoided, during times of meetings. Since, both myself and my husband are working from home, we had a hectic schedule, but Esan and his team would take our meeting schedules into consideration before they planned the day's work. Work was completed on time and each day, be it Esan, Tavel or others, they would come in with a big smile, do the work and clean up. I was so anxious about doing reno work while living in the house, but Esan and his team made the experience such a smooth one for me, my daughter and husband, that I can only think of EH Handyman & Contractor when I think reno work.
