Most Markham homes we work in were built between the late 1980s and the mid-2000s, and they have reached the age where the builder-grade finishes are done: oak-stained cabinets, laminate counters, carpet on the stairs, a big unfinished basement. The layouts are usually fine. The job is to bring the kitchen, the bathrooms and the floors up to what the house deserves, and to turn the basement into real living space.
Thornhill, on both the Markham and Vaughan sides of Yonge, has an older mix with more full-gut renovations. Either way we are a short drive up the 404 or 407 from our Scarborough base.

What Markham homeowners said

5 out of 5 stars
Esan and his team did an outstanding job for me. I had a number of different projects (electrical, plumbing, etc.) that needed to be done, and Esan and his team conducted themselves in a very professional and efficient manner. They showed up on site when they said they would, and they didn't leave until everything was completed and cleaned. They are my go-to contracting service for anything in my home from now on! - Steve Litwin

Esan and his team did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations. They were exceptionally professional and completed the job in less time than I expected. I was very happy with the service and will certainly use them again whenever I have a need for skilled handyman work.

I selected E.H. Handyman after receiving interest from 5 other companies. The owner Esan stood out based on his initial message . After speaking to him on the phone it was obvious that he was genuinely interested in the job.( several other contractors acted as if they were doing me a favour as the job was small and they were very busy). Everything was completed in a timely fashion and the work area was cleaned up. I would definitely use this company again.
