Along Yonge, Sheppard and Finch it is condo work: full one-bedroom and two-bedroom renovations where the kitchen, bathroom, flooring and lighting all get replaced at once, with the building's move-in rules, elevator bookings and quiet hours to work around. We have done these and know how to keep the property manager happy.

Off the main streets it is detached houses, a lot of them 1950s and 1960s bungalows and back-splits, where the work is a kitchen opened up to the back of the house, a second bathroom carved out of a big bedroom, or a basement finished with a separate entrance.

    I was very impressed with Esan and Shawn's work on getting our bathroom fixed. He didn't upsell anything and was completely ok with what we asked for. I did do my homework before hiring him to make sure there wasn't anything extra he wanted to add, so he was very honest with the work. I had 3 other contractors come out and tried to upsell me with items that weren't needed. This is why I decided to go with Esan and his team. I was a little skeptical on paying a 50% deposit, but he definitely came through with the work! The only thing I wasn't too pleased about was that he had a family emergency, which happens and I completely understand, but he didn't tell me this right away and I was left in the dark about when they were going to show up again to finish up the work. I would have been ok with the fact that he told me this as soon as possible. He did show up a few days later and finished the work in the time he stated, so I was pleased with that part. I would definitely hire Esan and his team again for anything that we need!
